I will undertake and charge you only for the required work to be completed.  For many small businesses it is not financially viable to have an employee undertake the important bookkeeping requirements, especially for the sole traders and smaller companies who just have a few hours of work per month.  In a lot of cases, this role is merged with other responsibilities to fill an employee's time but it is important to have a competent, trained person complete your accounting work as too often, bookkeepers are bought in at a later date to tidy up the common errors made by untrained staff.  Whilst many people are familiar with accounting software packages, it is often the accounting principles that are lacking and this leads to errors being made which can be costly to set right. What about my Accountant? I will liaise with your accountant as required and compile all your annual accounts on a monthly basis, ready for their completion.  Bank account and general ledger reconciliations, GST, PAYE and all other monthly bookkeeping duties as required will be undertaken and completed for you and passed on to your accountant at the end of the year ready for your IR3 or IR4 to be filed. Can you undertake my Payroll work too? Yes, I am competent with SmartPayroll and MYOB Payroll. What if I would like to convert to Xero but have a staff member undertake most of the data entry?
